Cast in solid brass and finished in aged brass, it stands 42.6 cm tall and 16.7 cm wide, with a projection of 19 cm from the wall — enough presence to anchor a front door without crowding a narrow porch. Clear seeded glass panels sit within its faceted, hexagonal cage, giving off the softly distorted glow that made these lanterns a fixture of old New England homes.
