Carved Teak Outdoor Coffee Table | Hamptons Provincial Outdoor
French & Hamptons Style
The Hamptons Provincial Outdoor Coffee Table repeats the dining table in miniature — a slatted solid teak top that drains freely, a shaped and scalloped apron centred on a hand-carved scallop shell, and cabriole legs that swell at the knee and taper to a plain foot. At 1200 by 800 it is sized to serve a three-seat settee and two armchairs without crowding the space between them, and at 450mm high it sits exactly where a drink should.
- 1200 × 800 × 450mm — generous enough to serve a full lounge setting
- Solid plantation teak, traditionally jointed and hand-carved
- Slatted top with drainage gaps; shaped and scalloped apron with carved scallop shell
- Rubio Monocoat limewash as standard; raw teak and house finishes to order
- A taller cocktail version at 650mm is available for bar and deep-seating terraces
- Custom dimensions made to order
A Carved Teak Coffee Table for the Outdoor Room
This is the anchor of the lounge setting. Centre it between the settee and a pair of armchairs on a covered terrace, a poolside paving area or a courtyard, and the arrangement reads as a room rather than a collection of furniture. The slatted top means it can be left out through a Sydney summer without a thought, and the pale limewash keeps it visually light on travertine and sandstone alike.
Solid plantation teak, traditionally jointed and hand-carved in our Indonesian workshop. Finished in Rubio Monocoat limewash as standard — a hardwax oil that penetrates the timber rather than coating it, so the grain remains visible and the surface can be spot-repaired rather than stripped. Also available raw, or in any of our house finishes.
The centre of the setting, and the piece everything else is arranged around.
Care: Teak requires no sealing or oiling. Left uncovered the limewash mellows toward silver-grey over one to two seasons; under cover it holds its pale honey tone. An annual wash with mild soapy water is all the timber asks. Cushions should be brought under cover overnight and protected in poor weather.
