French & Hamptons Style
The Aldermere House Traditional Wall Lantern brings the look of a pre-Georgian carriage lamp to the modern front door. Cast in solid brass and glazed with clear glass panels, it stands 37.5 cm tall and projects 12 cm from the wall, with a pierced brass roof and finial that catch the light well after dark. Its scale and traditional lines suit entrances, porches and covered alfresco areas on Hamptons, French provincial and heritage-style homes alike.
- Solid brass body with an aged brass finish, lacquered for durability so it keeps its warm tone outdoors without regular polishing
- IP44 rated and built to Class I standard, making it a genuinely weatherproof brass wall lantern for exposed walls and alfresco zones
- Takes one E27 lamp up to 60W and accepts dimmable globes, so a warm-white LED (we recommend our matching 8W E27 globe) is an easy, energy-efficient swap
- Backplate measures 25 cm high by 21.5 cm wide, sitting close to the wall with only 2 cm of projection at the mounting point
- Runs on standard 220-240V mains power, no transformer required, and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty
- Part of a small Coastal Collection of period brass lanterns, also available in polished nickel and antique verdigris finishes
A Period Brass Outdoor Light for Every Entrance
Mount this heritage brass lantern beside a panelled front door, either side of a garage, or along a verandah wall where its clear glass will throw a good spread of light. The aged brass finish sits comfortably against painted weatherboard, brick or render, and pairs naturally with brass door furniture, lantern-style pendants and other traditional outdoor lighting used elsewhere on the facade.
Bring the character of a period brass outdoor light to your own entrance with the Aldermere House lantern.
