French & Hamptons Style
This wrought iron wheel chandelier takes its shape from an old cartwheel ring, hung on lengths of chain and fitted with six candle-style arms. At 74 cm across, it has enough scale to anchor a dining table or entryway, while the drop adjusts on installation from 61 cm to as much as 2.52 m, so it works equally well under standard ceilings or in a double-height hallway. The graphite black finish and visible chain links give it the look of a genuine medieval style candle chandelier, hand-detailed rather than smooth and modern.
- Steel construction with a graphite black finish throughout, including the ceiling pan, for a consistent aged-iron look from plate to arm
- Six E14 candle sockets (60W max each) suit warm-white LED candle lamps such as our recommended 4W E14 globe, sold separately as lamps are not included
- Chain-hung design with 1.84 m of chain gives real flexibility over hanging height for rooms with tall or sloped ceilings
- Compact 10 x 10 cm ceiling plate with a 4 cm projection sits neatly against the ceiling without a bulky canopy
- Runs on standard mains voltage and is compatible with dimmable lamps, so light levels can be softened for evening dining
- Weighs 11.57kg, reflecting the solid, heavy build typical of genuine wrought ironwork
A Wagon Wheel Chandelier for Country and Heritage Interiors
Hang it over a farmhouse table, in a stone-flagged entry, or above a kitchen island where a black wrought iron chandelier reads as a natural centrepiece rather than an afterthought. It suits French provincial and traditional country schemes particularly well, pairing with timber tables, wrought iron door furniture and other aged-metal fittings. Made in England as part of an established collection, it comes with a two-year general guarantee.
