French & Hamptons Style
The Cheswold is a Victorian style outdoor wall lantern built for entrances, porches and verandahs that call for a proper coach light rather than a plain fitting. Cast predominantly in aluminium with a black finish and clear glass panels, it stands 1.145 m tall and projects 67.5 cm from the wall on a scrolled bracket, giving it real presence beside a front door or along a covered walkway. The pointed cap, finial and lantern-style glazing bars give it the look of a traditional heritage light while the build is entirely current.
- Rated IP23 and made from cast aluminium and steel, so it copes with an exposed porch or verandah setting outdoors.
- Comes with a 3-year anti-corrosion guarantee, useful reassurance for a fitting left out in all weathers.
- Takes one E27 lamp up to 60W (bulb not included) and works with dimmable lamps for softer evening light.
- Wired for mains voltage 220-240V and Class I rated, with the fitting weighing a solid 10kg.
- Made in England, continuing a long-standing style of English lantern making.
A Traditional Coach Lantern for Period and Heritage Homes
Mounted either side of a front door, on a garage wall or along a verandah post, this cast aluminium wall lantern suits French provincial, Hamptons and other period-style exteriors, pairing well with render, brick or timber cladding and with wrought iron gates or balustrading nearby.
Fit the Cheswold at your entrance and let it earn its keep on the darkest nights.
