French & Hamptons Style

The Wharton is a glass panel wall lantern built for front doors, porches and covered outdoor walls that call for something more substantial than a plain sconce. Standing 56cm high and 22.25cm wide, it has genuine presence without overwhelming a narrow entrance or hallway run. The stepped brass cap and clean rectangular glass panels give it the look of a traditional coach lantern, in a hand-finished antique silver tone that reads as heritage rather than new.

  • Solid brass body with an IP54 rating and fog-resistant construction, so it holds up in wet areas as well as covered outdoor spots
  • Runs on 240V and takes a single E27 globe (LED only, up to 40W) for an easy warm-white fit-out
  • Clear glass panels on all sides let light spread generously while showing off the fitting itself after dark
  • Weighs 4.0kg, light enough for straightforward wall mounting either side of a door or along a porch wall
  • Suitable for both outdoor and outdoor undercover use, giving flexibility for entries, alfresco areas and breezeways

A Hamptons Style Outdoor Wall Lantern for the Front Entrance

Mount the Wharton in pairs either side of a front door for a symmetrical, Hamptons-style entrance, or use singly along a walkway or garage wall. The antique silver finish and glazed panels suit French provincial and traditional weatherboard homes particularly well, sitting comfortably alongside timber shutters, panelled doors and wrought iron hardware.

Bring one home to mark the entrance your house has been waiting for.
