French & Hamptons Style
The Clovelly is a nautical caged wall sconce built around a tapered brass lantern and a graceful hook arm that curls up from the wall plate. Standing 48cm tall on a 13cm by 13cm footprint, it has real presence by a front door, along a covered verandah, or beside a garden path. The clear glass shade sits inside a ribbed brass cage, so the glow reads as a proper coach lantern rather than a plain fixture.
- Solid brass construction, 7kg in weight, giving the fixture a solid, well-made feel that will not rattle or flex on its wall plate
- IP54 rated and fog resistant, so it copes with rain, damp air and coastal conditions on an open porch or alfresco wall
- Suitable for both outdoor and undercover outdoor use, so it works equally well on an exposed façade or a covered patio
- Runs on standard 240V household power with an E27 base, and we recommend an LED globe up to 40W for a warm, steady light
- Clear glass shade is handmade, so minor bubbles or slight variations are part of the glass, not a flaw
A Brass Wall Lantern for Heritage and Hamptons Façades
Hang the Clovelly either side of a front door, along a boundary wall, or near an outdoor bathroom mirror where its brass and glass suit an industrial or rustic finish just as readily as a heritage or French provincial one. The hook-arm profile and riveted wall plate give it a working dockside character that pairs naturally with timber cladding, render, or exposed brick.
Fit the Clovelly to a covered entry or exposed wall and let it earn its place on the first cold, wet evening.
