The Hamptons Provincial Outdoor Dining Table is pure provincial farmhouse in silhouette — a shaped and scalloped apron centred on a hand-carved scallop shell, carried on cabriole legs — with a slatted solid teak top that drains freely and is made for weather rather than protected from it. It extends from 1800 to 2400 by means of a concealed leaf, which matters more outdoors than in: the table can live at its working length through the week and open for the long lunch without a second table appearing from the garage.

An Extending Teak Dining Table for French Provincial and Hamptons Terraces
Pair it with six side chairs and two carvers for a complete dining setting, or specify carvers all round. For larger terraces the 2250 model extends to 2850 and seats ten. Custom lengths and fixed-length tables are made to order, and for commercial projects the carving can be extended to the side rails or replaced with a client’s own crest.
Solid plantation teak, traditionally jointed and hand-carved in our Indonesian workshop. Finished in Rubio Monocoat limewash as standard — a hardwax oil that penetrates the timber rather than coating it, so the grain remains visible and the surface can be spot-repaired rather than stripped. Also available raw, or in any of our house finishes.

Care: Teak requires no sealing or oiling. Left uncovered the limewash mellows toward silver-grey over one to two seasons; under cover it holds its pale honey tone. An annual wash with mild soapy water is all the timber asks. Cushions should be brought under cover overnight and protected in poor weather.
