Carved Teak Outdoor Ottoman & Footstool | Hamptons Provincial — Ivory
French & Hamptons Style
The Hamptons Provincial Outdoor Ottoman is the piece that turns a good chair into somewhere people stay. Cabriole legs, a shaped and scalloped apron centred on a hand-carved scallop shell, and a single deep cushion in the same fabric as the lounge armchair. Solid plantation teak throughout, traditionally jointed, with no visible hardware.

A Carved Teak Footstool for the Outdoor Armchair
Set one in front of each lounge armchair and the terrace changes character — people stop perching and start staying. On its own it absorbs the two extra guests every terrace seems to acquire, and with a tray it will stand in as a low table beside the settee.
Solid plantation teak, traditionally jointed and hand-carved in our Indonesian workshop. Finished in Rubio Monocoat limewash as standard — a hardwax oil that penetrates the timber rather than coating it, so the grain remains visible and the surface can be spot-repaired rather than stripped. Also available raw, or in any of our house finishes.
The most useful small piece in the collection, and the one most often forgotten until it is too late to add.
Care: Teak requires no sealing or oiling. Left uncovered the limewash mellows toward silver-grey over one to two seasons; under cover it holds its pale honey tone. An annual wash with mild soapy water is all the timber asks. Cushions should be brought under cover overnight and protected in poor weather.
