Carved Teak Outdoor Loveseat Two Seat | Hamptons Provincial
French & Hamptons Style
The Hamptons Provincial Outdoor Loveseat carries the same language as the three-seat radassier settee — the bowed crest rail centred on a hand-carved scallop shell, the carved scroll arm terminals, the shaped and scalloped apron, the cabriole legs — at a scale that suits a smaller terrace, a balcony or a conversational corner. Deep separate seat and back cushions give it the depth of an indoor sofa.
- 1350 × 825 × 1000mm — scaled for courtyards, balconies and smaller terraces
- Solid plantation teak, traditionally jointed and hand-carved
- Carved spiral volute arm terminals; cabriole legs
- Hand-carved scallop shell to the bowed crest rail and to the carved apron
- Deep separate seat and back cushions in blue toile de Jouy or plain ivory
- Standard or reticulated quick-drain outdoor foam
A Carved Teak Loveseat for Courtyards and Smaller Terraces
Two loveseats facing one another across a coffee table make a complete setting in a courtyard where a three-seater would crowd the space. Or pair one with two lounge armchairs and a coffee table for a lounge setting at a slightly lighter scale. The blue toile de Jouy is a proper figurative toile, printed for outdoor use; the plain ivory lets the carved frame carry the room on its own.
Solid plantation teak, traditionally jointed and hand-carved in our Indonesian workshop. Finished in Rubio Monocoat limewash as standard — a hardwax oil that penetrates the timber rather than coating it, so the grain remains visible and the surface can be spot-repaired rather than stripped. Also available raw, or in any of our house finishes.
The whole language of the collection, at a scale that fits a courtyard.
Care: Teak requires no sealing or oiling. Left uncovered the limewash mellows toward silver-grey over one to two seasons; under cover it holds its pale honey tone. An annual wash with mild soapy water is all the timber asks. Cushions should be brought under cover overnight and protected in poor weather.
