French & Hamptons Style
This antique brass outdoor wall light takes its shape from the gas street lanterns of an earlier era, with a domed brass cap, curved cage frame and clear glass shade housing a single globe. Standing 42cm high and 21.5cm wide, it has enough presence for an entryway or porch without overwhelming a doorway, and suits French provincial, Hamptons and heritage-style homes equally well.
- Rated IP54 and suitable for outdoor, undercover and wet or foggy areas, so it copes with an exposed porch as readily as a covered alfresco space.
- Runs on standard 240V household wiring with an E27 lamp holder, taking a globe up to 40W — an LED globe is recommended for lower running cost and heat.
- Solid brass construction with a seamless build gives it a substantial 3.0kg weight, a good indicator of the solid metal underneath the antique brass finish.
- Clear glass shade lets the glow of the globe show through, casting light outward rather than hiding it behind a frosted cover.
- Backplate measures 13cm across, sized to sit neatly on a brick pier, timber post or rendered wall.
A Lantern Wall Light for Hamptons and Heritage Porches
Mount this wall lantern either side of a front door, along a verandah, or at the entrance to a garden path, where its brass tone will darken gracefully over time and pair well with timber shutters, painted weatherboard or exposed brick. It also suits covered outdoor living areas and alfresco dining spots where a warm, traditional glow is wanted after dark.
Bring the character of an old gas lamp to your own entrance with this brass wall lantern.
