French & Hamptons Style
The Brackenfield Heritage Wall Light Black and Brass is a hanging wall sconce built for hallways, staircases and bedside settings where a period touch is wanted. A black metal arm curves out from a small round backplate to a polished brass gallery, from which a fluted glass shade hangs on a twisted cord. The fitting height adjusts from 32.4 cm right up to 1.22 m, so it can be hung high on a stairwell wall or low beside a bed.
- Fitting height runs from 32.4 cm to 1.22 m on 1 metre of cord, giving the drop needed for tall hallways or low bedside placement.
- Takes one E27 lamp (not included) up to 60W — a filament-style LED such as our recommended ST64 globe suits the exposed bulb look best.
- Works with dimmable lamps, so light levels can be softened for evenings.
- Ribbed glass shade (sold as a separate optional accessory should a spare ever be needed) sits under the brass gallery, diffusing the glow while leaving the bulb visible.
- Class I fitting for mains voltage, rated for interior use only, with a 2 year guarantee.
A Ribbed Glass Wall Light for Heritage-Style Rooms
The black arm and brass fittings sit well against panelled walls, papered hallways or a French provincial staircase, and the fluted glass shade brings texture without weight. Hang it in pairs either side of a hall table or console, or singly beside a headboard where a swing-arm reading light is wanted. It suits Hamptons, French provincial and traditional interiors equally, pairing with aged brass hardware and dark timber furniture.
