Material
This chair is carved in Italy by traditionally trained craftsman and made from European beech. This is the traditional timber for French chairs, as it allows for the finest carving details. We also offer a fine selection of Louis XV European beech rectangular French dining tables.
Finish and upholstery
This chair design can come in a timber or painted finish. Our timber finish is hand polished so we can match the tone to your existing table. For the upholstery, we have a huge range of fabric you can choose from, and are happy to help with the selection, so that your dining chairs matching your existing furniture and décor.
The shield back chair can be in cane has shown here or fully upholstered in a fabric of your choosing. This classic French provincial dining chair is carved in Italy and finished and upholstered in our Sydney furniture workshop to suit your taste. It would suit a semi-formal, French country or Hamptons style dining interior.
