This shield back French chair design is a stylish elegant dining chair. Its graceful carvings offer a beautiful fresh Hamptons style look especially when painted in an antique white finish as shown here. The shield of the back has been upholstered with cane and the mouldings around the chair frame have a light French grey trim to bring out the curves and lines of the chair.

This dining chair has Louis XV style furniture features including carved moulding, cabriole legs, floral motifs and scroll feet. The shield back can also be fully upholstered in a fabric of your choosing. And the finish can be in timber if you prefer.
