The Oatlands Contemporary Wall Light Black is a compact black wall light built around a rectangular steel column and a rotating opal glass globe, sized to sit happily on a windowsill, bookcase or narrow hallway wall rather than dominate it. Half-matte black, half-milky white, the sphere reads as a considered contemporary object rather than a plain fitting, and a small brass dimmer button sits low on the column where a hand naturally falls. It works equally well as a bedside light, a reading light beside an armchair, or a soft accent by a doorway.
