The Périgord French dining chair is a lovely looking Hamptons style dining chair. The chair is carved from quality European Beech, the traditional material for French chairs. The top of the chair is fully upholstered, and the chair features a curve both ways for extra lumber back support. We call this dining chair our ‘four-hour chair’ as its perfect for sitting in for long dinner parties. It is our most comfortable dining chair.
Upholstery and finish
The height of the back is also low rise which is great for smaller dining rooms or for creating a greater sense of space in the interior. Here the chair is upholstered in a classic French provincial linen giving it a beautiful Hamptons coastal quality that suits so well that Australian interior. For the fabric selection, we can supply fabric samples and our designer can visit your home to give design options that match and enhance your current interior. You can also send a photo of your interior to help us select the best fabric for your dining chairs.
This highly comfortable dining chair offers a versatile look, its cabriole legs suit traditional looking furniture design in the home and its fully upholstered top ties in with a more modern looking style furniture. This makes it a great choice for an interior that combines both old and new. The finish of this chair can be in walnut timber finish, antique white or in any painted finish.
