French & Hamptons Style
The St Averil is a traditional brass wall light built for entrances, porches and alfresco walls that call for a proper carriage lantern rather than a token porch light. Standing 41.4 cm high and 30.2 cm wide, with a 10 cm projection, it holds its own on a solid front door or a wide facade pillar without looking undersized. The angled glass panels and stepped brass cap give it the look of a pre-Georgian original, part of our Coastal Collection of heritage-style exterior fittings.
- Solid brass body with an aged, lacquered finish resists tarnishing outdoors, so it keeps its warm patina through the seasons.
- IP44 rated and built to Class I electrical standard for mains voltage, making it properly suited to exposed exterior walls.
- Takes two E27 lamps (bulbs not included) up to 60W each, and is compatible with dimmable lamps for softer evening light.
- Clear glass panels show off the lamps rather than hiding them, casting a broad, welcoming pool of light.
- Weighs 1.89kg and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty, reflecting confidence in the solid brass construction.
A Heritage Porch Lantern for Period and Hamptons-Style Homes
Hang it either side of a panelled front door, along a verandah, or at the entrance to a courtyard where a Hamptons style or French provincial exterior calls for something more substantial than a plain bulkhead. It pairs naturally with brass door furniture, lantern-style pendants in an entry hall, or a matching pair flanking a garage.
Fit the St Averil at your entrance and let it do the welcoming for years to come.
