French & Hamptons Style
The Ashendale is a traditional half lantern outdoor wall light cast in black aluminium, shaped after the carriage lanterns once hung either side of grand entrances. Standing 49.5 cm high and 26 cm wide, it sits flat against the wall with a projection of just 14 cm, making it a good fit for porches, front doors and covered walkways where space is tight. Clear glass panels reveal the single lamp within, and the peaked cap and finial give it the silhouette of a heritage porch lantern.
- Built-in PIR sensor with 120-degree detection and a range of 1 to 8 metres, so the light switches on the moment someone approaches the door
- Light duration is adjustable from 5 seconds to 7 minutes, with instant response and no delay when triggered
- Rated IP44, so it stands up to rain and damp conditions in an exposed exterior position
- Takes a single E27 lamp (not included) up to 60W, and is compatible with dimmable lamps for softer evening light
- Cast aluminium construction carries a 5 year anti-corrosion guarantee, so the black finish is built to last outdoors
- Weighs 2.25kg and runs on standard 220-240V mains power, with Class I wiring for safe outdoor installation
A Traditional Half Lantern for Period-Style Entrances
This is a wall light suited to homes with a French provincial, Hamptons or heritage character, where a plain modern fitting would look out of place. Mount it beside the front door, at the garage, or along an outdoor passage where you want both light and reassurance after dark. The black cast aluminium finish and clear glass pair naturally with painted weatherboard, brick and rendered facades alike.
Fit the Ashendale at your entrance and let its sensor do the work of greeting every visitor with light.
