Material & Quality

Carved in Italy, the frame is carved from European Beech, the traditional timber for fine French furniture. This timber allows the carver to create the most delicate and detailed carvings. The quality of this French armchair reflects the very best of European Craftsmanship.

Customisation

Our French armchairs are finished in Sydney so we can offer you customisable options. Both the finish & fabric are customisable. This velvet is an exquisite option with light gold painted finished, red trim, and cream velvet pipping to frame the piece.

Timber Finish

All our finishes are applied by hand by traditionally trained artisans. Our walnut timber finish is a traditional high-quality timber finish. Applied by hand, it is then antiqued on top to create an authentic antique look. The tone of the walnut timber finish can be light, medium or dark.

Painted Finishes & Gilding

This chair can also be painted in white with/without a light antique wash applied on top. Or it can be done in any colour. Contrast colour trim can be added. We specialise in hand painted custom patinas, venetian finishes, gilding & more. Please feel free to talk to us about your wishes.
