Exclusive to Christophe Living is a wonderful range of trompe l’oeil [an art technique that uses realistic imagery to create an optical illusion] murals that depict Parisian apartments, libraries, beautiful rooms, and Louis paneling. These are printed either on paper or on a fine velvet.
We now specialize in making wardrobes with doors that depict the other world of a Parisian apartment. There is a huge range of different panels depicting doors, libraries, rooms opening up to other rooms, fireplaces, and even an inviting view into a Parisian garden seen from the inside of a beautifully decorated Louis XV room.
The realistic photography of fine carving, scrolls of French leaves and even down to the parquet oak flooring will give the illusion of your wardrobe being the doorway into an old world Parisian apartment. We custom make the wardrobes and then we carefully fit the fabric or paper on to it. Also available are wall paneling and so on.
