With the imminent arrival of summer, now is a good time to think about filtering the sometimes harsh light and create a relaxing atmosphere in your home. The right curtains will also protect your furniture, upholstery, floor covering and art from damage from the sun.

We’ve had a great response to our light linen sheers, which are particularly good in the Australian climate.  Sheers can be installed in front of fabric-bonded blinds to give you the option of full privacy or light filtering, and the window can also be dressed with a swag or full curtain.

For adding a touch of elegance and drama to a room, there’s nothing quite like a French swag curtain. Or install a London blind in our classique toile for a more formal look – ideal if you want to make a bold statement without sacrificing a lot of wall space. Sheers and curtain fabric can also be used make a bed canopy, bringing that romantic embrace to your bed. You can choose from our large range of plain fabrics, prints, damask or toile.

You may not be aware that Christophe Living offers a full curtain design, making and installation service. We have a large range of European tassels and trimmings to add the perfect finishing touch. We are very proud of our custom-made pelmets, both with and without carving, which can be finished in duo-tone, touch of gold or full gilding.

The richness of our fabrics and finishes will truly bring your room to life. Enquire now for pre-Christmas installation.
